"The Devil came here yesterday"
“The devil came here yesterday,” Chavez said, referring to Bush’s address on Tuesday and making the sign of the cross. “He came here talking as if he were the owner of the world.”
Standing at the podium, Chavez quipped that a day after Bush’s appearance: “In this very spot it smells like sulfur still.”
Aaaah yes! February 2009! I remember it well...
''Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.''

5. Yeah, Chavez was so classless that he gave our poor and elderly free or very cheap
heating oil for their homes, when the Bush*/Cheney junta refused to do anything.
He was also classless enough to offer Bush/Cheney a 20 year contract to supply the US with his oil for $50/barrel, and Bush/Cheney turned him down! Now why, praytell, would they turn him down?? Could it be because Halliburton wouldn't be able to get all those multi-billion dollar no-bid contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and their other cronies couldn't fill their pockets and bank accounts from their war profiteering in the Military Industrial Complex??
Bush, Cheney and most of their top level cabinet heads should have already had their day at the Hague...
Hugo's words were spot on!
