http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/28/us/politics/gay-marriage-brief-gets-more-republican-support.htmlThe list of Republicans on the brief now tallies more than 100, organizers say. It now includes Beth Myers, who ran Mr. Romneys 2008 campaign and was a senior adviser to him in 2012, and Marilyn Musgrave, a retired Colorado congresswoman who was once rated the most conservative member of the House by the American Conservative Union.
Ms. Musgrave, who lost her bid for a fourth term in 2008, was an unsuccessful sponsor of a constitutional amendment to bar same-sex couples from marrying; she once warned that if gay couples were allowed to wed, the next step is polygamy or group marriage.
Very surprising news. Update: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/27/marilyn-musgrave-gay-marriage_n_2773986.html

(56,177 posts)2. She was notoriously homophobic...what happened to her?
Series-ly, did she come out or something? I'm being only slightly sracastic...there must have been something dramatic for such a 180 turn.

(1,555 posts)3. Evidently evil musgrave sees this as a gambit to get back on stage
Not really sure why mean old marilyn would bother to give her opinion unless she's thinking of getting back in the game. Maybe she didn't hear it loudly enough that she's not wanted to represent Colorado EVER again.
