1. Where currently is Congress' approval rating? Is it below 5% yet?

Yes you may.

I would like to second that.

The motion is approved.

10. Let's not lump all of the Dems in with that.

Let's not even lump MOST of the Dems in with that. All of this shit is happening because of the hatred the GOP has for America. Period.

11. "Congress" is not a monolith.

There are plenty of competent, intelligent, and hardworking members that absolutely do not deserve to be associated with the deplorable behavior of the worst.

There are far too many deserving members of congress to list here, but some of them include Tammy Baldwin, Sherrod Brown, Bernie Sanders, and Al Franken in the senate, and John Conyers, Kieth Ellison, Ed Markey, and Donna Edwards in the house.

There are even some conservatives who are reasonable and civil, even if I disagree with them on practically every policy question.

There are also some serious assholes that have no place in government. Shitheads like Joe Barton, Jeff Sessions, Louie Gohmert, Michele Bachman, Steve King, etc.

Those are the assholes that need to thrown out.

The "throw them all out!" meme is senseless.

15. Alexander Hamilton: "Even a thousand Socrates would still be a mob."

It doesn't matter that individually some might be saint. Hell, they all might be angels, person by person. When they act in concert, they suck.

The real problem is the lobbyists, of course, but the only cures I can think of for that are illegal and immoral.

12. That's great, I would suggest all of the Tea Baggers that work in those jobs go 1st since they don't

have a problem with it.

13. May I suggest that, of those 535, the ones who think "government is the problem"

voluntarily step down? Then we'll see about the rest of them.

14. Yes, why aren't they ever asked, and why can't they answer the basic question

"Why the hell are you here?"

17. It's really infuriating.

I guess they think they have to destroy the country in order to save it.
