Hmmm, the Hastert Rule or a functioning economy... tough choice

With the Hastert rule there will not, and can not, be any avoidance of the sequester.

There is a majority of House Republicans that will slash the military and usher in a new recession rather than offend Grover Norquist.

Period.

So under the Hastert rule no solution to the problem (something that would pass the Senate and be signed by the President) can be voted on... even though there are solutions that could gain a majority of all House members, and Senate members, and be signed by the President.

Something has to crack... either the Hastert rule or the economy.

Which does Boehner consider more important?

(The Hastert rule, silly. It's a rhetorical question.)

Silly question, you know what the Repugs will do.

2. Norquist is one of those things on Limbaugh's nether-region that got him VN deferments.

I don't know why anyone in the GOP pays any attention to him. Same with Rove for that matter. Are GOP polititions all (well, mostly) that pathetic and weak-minded? Evidence would suggest that the answer is "yes".

3. Watch the market tomorrow.

Military Industrial Complex stocks start taking a hit, then the fix is in,Rethugs take the country down. If the market moves North, the big boys have reached some type of deal where a wealth transfer deal in exchange for not crashing the economy. Checked the Options bookings a bit ago,the Hedgies have a ton of Strangle positions on industrial's. We will know by ten o'clock tomorrow, won't we.

Interesting,Peasants to be screwed again, all about the 1%ers.
