TV Nation - Abolishing Slavery in 1995

TV Nation was such a good show! Here's a video from 1995, when Mississippi finally ratified the 13th amendment. It was the first thing I thought of when I heard they had never turned in the paperwork making it official.

1. I think I have an official videotape of a few episodes somewhere

A correspondent hired a security guard to patrol the outside of the White House due to threats from Jesse Helms
Moore did a special on Guyana as a potential place for America to invade next
Merrill Markoe toured a state of the art prison that for some bureaucratic reason didn't have any prisoners yet
Moore traveled to the former Soviet Union to find the nuclear missile that was aimed at Flint, Michigan, and to ask them to point it somewhere else, suggesting a few celebrities' houses in Hollywood.
Stephen Wright visited a number of "experts" on whether or not humanity is doomed in the coming year.

All good.

2. I've got the DVDs

But I think they're worn out from being played so much.
