If you are thinking East County travel or to AZ, check road conditions.

3. The grapevine was closed yesterday, too. This impacts people all over several states.

My sister was several hours late getting to Sacramento from Oceanside due to the closure.

Thanks for posting!

4. You know what pisses me off?

Channel ten went to press, we did as well...but from national nooz, it's all sunshine all the time in SoCal. This same storm is affecting New Mexico right now, so it's starts to be news.

I first tweeted this on the paper's feed. I mean, CHP had the sig alert. Ironically I was working the feed (multiple incidents) as channel 10 was working the phones and getting the story up. We did ten minutes later as well.
