The GOP Reaps What It Sows, Part The Double Infinity

McCain at an AZ town hall getting shouted down by angry wingers who think shooting brown people into space is the appropriate course of action for "immigration reform." Also known as: The GOP Reaps What It Sows, Part The Double Infinity.

The look on McCain's face is what makes this art.

1. Lying down with dogs, getting up with fleas and all that.

Except that sometimes it's hard to know who are the dogs and who are the fleas.

6. Thank You Sir...I'm Honored...

...they'd be even more pissed when they realized if they put them "ileeguls" on busses and sent them back, they'd have to mow the lawns they keep telling us to stay off of...

Cheers...

17. Don't go with that narrative, it's the one cheap labor conservatives push

Labor is only 3 percent of the cost of produce. Well, actually 2.6 percent, last I read.

12. Truly. Stir up a shitstorm - and guess what you get, john?

You get shit. That's what. And that room full of your carefully cultivated nutcases threw all kinds of shit back in your face.

5. Good!

McCain has been riling up the crazies in my state for years! Nice to see him have to deal with some of the blow-back from his shenanigans! You reap what you sow John!

7. it's a replay of that election town hall where the lady called Barack Obama an Arab

. . . and McCain had to talk her down.

"I have to tell you. Sen. Obama is a decent person and a person you don’t have to be scared of as president of the United States," McCain told a supporter at a town hall meeting in Minnesota who said he was “scared” of the prospect of an Obama presidency and of who the Democrat would appoint to the Supreme Court.

“Come on, John!” one audience member yelled out as the Republican crowd expressed dismay at their nominee. Others yelled "liar," and "terrorist," referring to Obama.

McCain passed his wireless microphone to one woman who said, "I can't trust Obama. I have read about him and he's not, he's not uh — he's an Arab. He's not — " before McCain retook the microphone and replied:

"No, ma'am. He's a decent family man citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign's all about. He's not an Arab."

McCain has never come to grips with the racist rabble he and Palin attracted and encouraged to vote for them. That's the republican party that Romney inherited in his campaign and tried (in an unprecedented way) to exploit for a victory. That's the republican party that we face today; a nutty band of malcontents and scapegoating throwbacks to the days of Jim Crow and Wallace.

15. I remember that

He's not an Arab. Arabs are from Arabia.

He's a Kenyan!

8. The Rovenstein Monster is free of its chains, attacking its former masters

Rove excited the worst of the right-wing in America to carry W to two election victories (with a little help from the Supreme Court, true). An angry, unthinking electoral bloc who you've trained to see your opponents as Socialist-Fascist-Terrorist-Lovers (and maybe Kenyan too!) can be quite beneficial. Because those guys are gonna VOTE!

But now the monster is free of its chains, it's got the run of the mansion, and it will NOT go back into the lab willingly.

Reap what you sow indeed. There is no one to blame but themselves.

13. I'm trying to figure out whether that's his lower teeth or his tongue.

He sure can make good faces. Too bad he can't do that with policy anymore (or maybe he's just too busy whoring and grandstanding and stirring things up - to care anymore).

john - do us all a favor. Do YOURSELF a favor for pity's sake! RETIRE.
