1. Yes, the CEO's headed for the lifeboats

because they were the only ones who could see that selling sugary, no-nutrition "foods" had come to an end.

Please name me one product under the Hostess banner that you can find of any nutritional value, besides having empty calories. The ride had to come to an end sometime, and like I said, the big shots managed to push the little people out of the lifeboats, because they could see the sales figures.

6. Junk food still sells plenty.

And the next owner of Twinkies will probably make lots of money out of 'em.

5. Even if the execs had not gotten those raise/bonuses...

...hostess still would have declared bankruptcy.

No, I'm not saying it's the unions... but that graphic's "answers" to the question it poses are non-sequitors.

7. Selling off and saddling the company with like 80% of the sale cost is what did it.

SOP for Vulture capitalists...

Buy a company using the company itself to pay out the people at the top. Harvest as much money before the company collapses due to debt for yourself, rinse and repeat.

8. Plain old unbridled corporate greed and mismanagement did it.

As usual, the unions are a convenient scapegoat.

9. the unions are a convenient scapegoat because we the people allow it

the majority of Americans are now anti union thanks to 30 + years of GOP and Corporate Propaganda. Dems not pushing back much does not help either, neither does working people buying non-union products.
