As the events were taking place I speculated that he started the fire and then took himself out. Not sure about the fire but it appears he did take himself out.

It was reported here in Los Angeles, as events were unfolding, that a single gun shot was heard from the cabin at the time of the fire starting. I have no idea what the national coverage reported.

this monster died by his own hand, he was a coward to the end.
I think this pretty much proves my point that Dorner denied himself of due process, not the police .

I hope that the victims of this monster can find some sense of closure even though I would have preferred that he be brought to trial, but Dorner CHOSE his fate and he CHOSE very badly.

Glad you were able to stay safe.

If everything was done on the up and up....why are they lying about starting that fire?

For all they knew at the time, it could've been Dorner, now they know and the Sheriff admitted that the cannisters more than likely did start the fire.
So fair you've failed every time you make the claim that the police lied.

Have you heard them say THEY burned down the cabin yet?

Cause I haven't but I did hear them say they didnt know how it burnt....even though they shot 7 "burners" into it! If doing that was all legally defensible.....why not just come out and say so?

That audio doesn't prove a thing. Just because someone yelled it, doesn't prove it was the police and it doesn't prove they deliberately set that cabin on fire.

Christ on a crutch - the lack of logical reasoning in some people is simply astounding.

On the site radio reported single shot, then no more. That's about when the cabin started burning.

But I don't know what event preceded what, and neither does anybody here because none of us were on the scene. It's basically irrelevant anyway, because of this finding which fits precisely the events as they developed at the time and refutes alternatives.

Sadly, the rumor/speculation mill will just keep churning.
