PBO deliberately signed the sequester into law

Why can't we count on him to protect us all from those morons/Republicans in Congress?

Did I get the RWNJ talking point correct?

3. Please proceed, Mr. Speaker

Have always heard, don't interrupt your opponent when he's making a mistake.

6. The alternative was PBO's original attempt at bipartisanship

Couldn't get them to act like adults elected to serve their country. Now he has to outflank them just to get basic laws passed. The obstruction of the Right defies any sane explanation.

7. Exactly...the alternative didn't exist back then and it doesn't exist now....

...I'm afraid we're all going cliff-diving very soon.

8. It's going to get ugly for federal workers

and the folks that depend on them.

4. Some nights I dream that 'The Sequester' IS the grand bargain...

It's the thing that will reduce America's military spending, but to get it to pass required that slashing social programs be in the bargain.

I can't tell if this is a nightmare or just one of those ambivalent recurring dreams that leave me confused upon waking.
