1. Naaaah, it's more fun to believe

that they burned it on purpose.

2. You know. It seems that when they start using tear gas

it often results in a fire. I'm mean I have seen several of these incidents over the years on the news. The most famous was the LAPD's barbecue of the SLA back in 1972. So, I'm sorry. They know there is a very good chance of a fire.

3. They make the tear gas canisters...

...get hot on purpose so that rioters and such can't pick them up and throw them back.

4. So they know they are hot and liable to burn. So they know.

There is no playing surprise with this one.

5. I don't know if they get THAT hot...

...but they are suppose to get too hot to handle. The potential is certainly there.

6. Frankly, I don't believe anything about this story

least of all that they didn't intentionally set the fire. Of course they did. That they would lie to an entire country about it and that the media would accept this and then go on to report such an obvious falsehood as fact raises serious doubts as to the validity of the story itself as well as the credibility of the media. It's like I always say, there's the story they tell you and then there's what really fucking happened.

7. Apparently it's pretty common law enforcement jargon for a tear gas canister...

There is no known pyrotechnic device known as a "burner" for specifically starting fires.
