Rut Roh...Christie About To Get Teabagged...

http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/news/breaking/grossman-officially-announces-gubernatorial-campaign/article_1b5fde6c-7531-11e2-a1dc-001a4bcf887a.html

Somers Point attorney Seth Grossman formally announced his campaign for governor, calling for fairer laws and taxes, and saying Republican Gov. Chris Christie has been wrongly perceived as conservative.

Hes been running New Jersey like a Newark ward leader from the day he took office, Grossman said.

Grossman, 63, who seeks the Republican nomination, said he wants to challenge the Republican establishment by running conservative candidates across the state.

While he said some people have expressed interest, Grossman had no declared candidates on Tuesday.
Grossman announced his candidacy Tuesday morning with about a half-dozen supporters at a chilly, barren lot off of Rhode Island Avenue, about a block away from Revel casino.

2014 could be quite an amusing year indeed...

1. Wow, half a dozen supporters

Somehow I don't see Christie getting all worked up over this guy.

2. Infestations...

...start with just a handful. The wingnuts are blaming him for President Obama's victory (ain't it great when your life and though processes are so simple)...so I wouldn't discount this guy becoming an irritant...

4. The only candidate who can foil Christies chances of being reelected is a Democrat.

But thanks to the general stupidity of the voting public, Democrats just LOVE Chris Christie! I have actually been accused of being a troll on this message board by a DU member who didn't like my challenging her "Christie Love Fest" postings.

NJ is my state and I sadly believe that, as Blue as it is, it will reelect Christie in a landslide because he acts like a nice guy while he destroys our school system, our healthcare system and awards billions of tax dollars to his rich friends.

5. I was pleased that Christie was working with Obama during Sandy

and felt that he deserved a modicum of respect for doing so. However, some of the postings and ravings about Christie here and elsewhere were IMHO a bit excessive (i.e. wanting him to become a Democrat).

BTW "Newark Ward Leader"? Is that the new "Chicago Politics" or "Union Thug" meme from the teabaggers?

7. "Like a Newark ward leader" ...

... certainly sounds like a dog whistle. I was wondering if it might be some sort of racist hint. The conservatives use "inner city" that way.

primary easily and re-election as well.

9. How far right do you have to be to think Christie isn't a conservative.

Christie is a right wing nut job. This other guy must be off the charts.

10. The same guys....

Who kicked Dick Lugar and Bob Bennett to the curb.

I wouldn't give Christie the "nut job" label, but he's a conservative to be sure.

13. I guess he would be considered borderline nut job since he falls in line with most house and senate

conservatives. But I will still use the nut job label.

15. Not sure about love.

But many here do talk highly of a union busting bigot. I have pointed it out multiple times when I have seen people speak of him fondly. Even after showing them they talk about him as if he is so pragmatic. The respect shown here for a man who stands completely opposed to even the centrists of the Democratic party surprises me. He makes Joe Lieberman look like a progressive.

17. New Jersey is a Blue state. Democrats will be the ones who elect this Puke.

Except for the fact that I am a life long Democrat and a state resident I would laugh and say they deserve him. How he gets away with extreme right wing ideology and stealing from the poor and the middle class and giving to the millionaires, and still get love from so many Dems is beyond me.
