Rubio: ‘I’m Just Glad The Water Was Nearby’

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) on Wednesday laughed off his awkward gulp of water that occurred during his rebuttal to President Obama's State of the Union address, chalking up his dry mouth to a "long day at work."

"You know, when you talk a lot it happens," Rubio said during an appearance on "CBS This Morning." "Unfortunately, when you're giving a speech you have a podium and the water's there. When you're standing up in front of a camera you don't have that option. It had been a long day at work, I had already taped an 18-minute speech in Spanish, so I'm just glad the water was nearby. I don't know what I would have done without it."

15. Since the deception is good enough, this graphic works in several ways,

connive people to think Time called the Rs dessicated and subliminally sell more water too.

17. Good question, great answer. I was going to say lying might make one thirsty.

I say might because I wouldn't know, I'm a liberal scientist and I never need to lie.

21. Catecholamines/adrenaline will make for a dry mouth

And their release is during stressful moments which may include lying in non-sociopaths.
