1. K&R for the stay thirsty photo



Someday I'm going to play with word clouds expanding them to phrase clouds. For instance, middle and class up there I think was probably a phrase.

2. Can be done

In most word cloud generator, you dump in the text and it spits out the word cloud. if you want to create something as a phrase, many have the option if you use a "_" between the words. Easily done with a find/replace option. You can eliminate words from the picture if you want.

I use www.wordle.com a lot on big papers and sometime audio transcriptions to get a general feel for the material. Doesn't replace reading but does set a tone that I have found to be very helpful.
