An Insiders View of Progressive Talk Radio

I initially tried to post this but got cut off with connection. So I won't go into a disertation. Many of you in Nor-Cal know Peter B. I used to listen to him a lot. So I was tickeled to see an article from him on T.O. And while I'm at it, since radio was my business too, I will throw this in since I feel we have a chance to regain indy media as we did before Communications Act of 96. We need to repeal it. So please sign if you have not and pleae tell your friends.

1. The Horse Is Long Out Of The Barn...

I posted the Peter B. article this morning...looks like people are more interested in shooting drones at one another than to pay attention to this article.

Firstly, I long gave up on any type of repeal of dereg when I chatted with Jules Genachowski a couple years ago. Deregulation destroyed radio...driving away almost any listeners under 40. The medium is littered with over-leveraged companies that continue to downsize and eliminate what's left of local radio. Fortunately the rise of Internet Radio is filling the void and so far neither the FCC or the large corporates have been able to screw that up.

Good luck on your petition...the FCC is a dead issue...
