A 6 word sentence the President needs to keep handy tomorrow night;

"Sargent At Arms, Remove that person."

If Nugent or anyone else calls out or disrupts the State of the Union speech, THROW THEM OUT ON THEIR ASSES!

1. And if not him, then one of his people

Do not allow these republican scum to show any disrespect by some scene causing idiocy. That was bullshit when the guy shouted out "liar" that one time, and it should not happen again. You show proper respect to the president when he is speaking the state of the union speech, and these GOP scum need to stop their ridiculousness and childish antics.

2. Don't Nugent's comments make him qualify as a danger to the President? Can't they just

turn him away for assholery?

Well, I guess the room would be pretty empty then. But can't they just turn him away for treasonous assholery that included threats to the President?

3. I would imagine that if the Secret Service thought that blowhard coward was actually a threat....

they wouldn't let him inside the beltway, much less in the same hall as the President of the United States.

4. Hey, they wouldn't let Cindy Sheehan in because they objected to her shirt

She had an invite from a Congressman and everything, and the guards hauled her out of the gallery. I think Karl Rove must've dropped the dime.

5. I think this just might be the way for the President to neutralize the Nuge

Though, I must say, he hardly warrants such attention.

6. That's what I think

The guy really has 2 options:

1) Sit and listen to the President, thereby looking to his NRA fans as if he's being schooled

2) Make a scene, and look like a complete idiot to the whole world

There seem to be lots of fantasies going around right wing circles that the Great and Powerful Nuge is somehow going to achieve some sort of victory over the president, either by terrifying Obama into submission with his overpowering presence or by engaging him in a debate that will end with Obama being forced to admit that The Great Nuge has defeated him.

All I can figure is they've never actually seen a SOTU? That, and the usual delusions of grandeur.

7. I'm hoping Ted Nugent shows up wearing his usual camo...

So he won't be allowed in the House chamber, per dress code rules.

I've never seen the man wear anything else! He also won't be allowed to wear that camo cowboy hat, either!

8. He will sit there quietly and listen to the man he obviously despises.

He will behave not out of respect but because he is a wimp. All talk and bluster behind the scenes but never face to face. I'll bet he cried when the SS paid him a visit. Mr Guns is a very little man.

9. PO shouldn't have to say a word...

... The Sargent At Arms should just do his job.

10. Oh yes. I had almost forgotten the ass hat who said "You lie"

I genuinely hope that our President will never again allow that kind of disrespect.
He has the power.
