Should the Capital Police have gone in without any weapons? It was the good guys with firearms that killed the bad guy.

25. if you're looking for a coffeemaker, check this out
|
http://www.toddycafe.com/
Toddy's exclusive cold-water brewing process extracts the natural, delicious flavors of coffee and tea yet leaves behind undesirable bitter acids and oils. The result: A bold, super-smooth taste that's easier on the stomach. Toddy can be made one cup at a time - served steaming hot or iced cold, and at the strength you prefer. pretty cool once you get the ratios down, you make coffee concentrate, keep in fridge, and add water. it doesn't taste funny heated @ the microwave like reg. joe |

5. Before we condemn the shooter
|
Let us first check for a manifesto and determine if their feelings were ever hurt.
Then we need to examine their employer to see if they are to blame. We may not have a shooter...they could merely be a victim. That's the new standard, after all. |

13. I believe this is scarcasim with a sincere message...but my message is this...
|
As long as people have easy access to guns, more and more people who either KNOW or BELIEVE that they have been victimized in any way by anyone, these kinds of killings and incidents are going to be repeated multiple times, daily. It is really sad.

I have put forth many ideas for gun safety.
The facts are that bad people will do bad things, sadly they will pick soft targets to do these bad things. I think we are seeing the loss of hope, and an overall societal decline as we begin to feel more and more enslaved and dehumanized. A sick mind will lash out, and try to cause as much pain and mayhem as possible. What better place than a gun free zone. Fortunately in this case it was not entirely gun free as the security there put him down before he could kill/ injure more. Gun free zones are just a beacon to a person intent on damage and carnage. |

|
Last edited Mon Feb 11, 2013, 11:49 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) When I was called for Jury Duty in NY, there was an armed officier at the entrance to the courthouse. He was standing right next to the Metal Dectector that everyone had to pass through to get inside. All the attorneys and judges, too, had to pass through it. I saw a few of them give their guns to the officier to keep (locked up) while they were in the building. There were armed deptuties in the waiting rooms, court rooms, etc, but civilians was allowed to carry in the building.
