1. Of course he should receive due process if he pleads innocent

if he confesses to the murders then that is different

9. You may not be clear on what due process means

Due process in America in the case of murder could lead to the death penalty.

3. why are you confused? Has ANYONE here suggested a summary execution is in order?

Not that I've seen. Please link. Otherwise this is just shit stirring bullshit.

Of course he should get a trial if captured.

And the Manifesto is the ranting of an angry, hateful and narcissistic man. Doesn't mean certain allegations aren't true.

20. You seem to be saying others (here?) have called for his execution

While the LAPD shooting spree is pretty awful, they try to justify it as stopping him before he can shoot someone else, not as 'summary execution'.

Oh, now I get it; don't worry, we're not on his jury. "The presumption of innocence" is for the justice system, not DUers.

is NOT, repeat, NOT a

"Love letter to Chris Dorner"

"Sympathizing with Chris Dorner"

nor

"Supporting Chris Dorner"

Links available upon request, but I'd prefer not to do call outs.

25. Really? That seems radically different from the rest of your posts in this thread

I can see a theoretical point about 'presumption of innocence', and that has been what you said here (though, looking at a few news reports, I see "wanted for murder" and similar phrases, not 'murderer Chris Donner', which I have only found on a right wing blog so far).

This is the first time you've said anything remotely about his allegations against the LAPD in this thread. It's been about whether he murdered people.

28. I've seen many say "Dorner gave up the right to have his allegations taken seriously....

when he murdered those two innocent people".

This morning, when a guest on DemocracyNow asked "how do we know, aside from his Manifesto, that Dorner committed the murders?" I saw "the guest has suggested that Dorner didn't murder Quan and her fiancee"

The twisting of people's words in this matter is reaching new lows.

31. really? where? link?

And the guest Davey D. did indeed suggest that Dorner may not have murdered Quan.

Direct quote: "how do we know he did it?"

at about the 5:18 mark.

Yes, YOU are twisting words

Although I don't consider Dorner's reporting to be reliable, due to his hate filled "manifesto" and his murdering, I think the LAPD needs a thorough investigation- including Dorner's charges.

11. I'd say you're confused. Since when is this man's manifesto the

law of the land? We do have such a thing as due process and he must be formally charged with a crime, plead, and appear in a trial. That manifesto does not take the place of all of those processes.

12. What next

Dorner 2016?

I mean, his fan club is growing. He's legendary, man!

He stood up against the LAPD and killed innocent people!

OK, I admit the 2016 was over the top, but the way some are carrying on, could free Dorner be far behind when he's captured and convicted?

I don't care what he is accused of he has the constitutional right for a fair trial. Given the LAPD's history he won't make it to court.
