You can't spell 'LAPDOG' without L-A-P-D

I was in Los Angeles for two weeks in 2009 (horrible vacation choice), and had three encounters with the police department, all of them over trivialities, all of them quite unpleasant. They really do represent 'The Powers That Be.'

riots (of the Rodney King ordeal), I was traveling in LA and listening to the radio. They had ads on the radio for recruitment of officers for LAPD, it was rather pathetic sounding. I don't recall having more than one encounter with the PD though. I got pulled over for allegedly following too close but actually there were some clowns playing "chicken" with me trying to get me, in my semi, to rear-end them so they could sue me and my company. And they didn't bother me when I was repossessing cars there either but I think that was long before this generation of thugs came into the picture.
