2. Having an ethical woman as our next President is vitally important for this country.

I don't see a republican woman that fit that bill, all are as bad as republican men. There are several democratic women, but only one that can win the Presidency in four years. It is time to shatter the glass ceiling that has kept women from top jobs, bring forward the future when we won't think twice about having a female President or many prominent female heads of large, medium and small companies and a pipeline full of talented females working to one day do the top jobs. Men will prosper right along with women in a gender blind world.

16. ETHICAL WOMAN

And sadly, many of us have serious doubts about the ethical part.

3. I know, wasn't it

Denise Kucinich who lead the fight against the Iraq war in the House?

I am sure that Hillary did the same in the Senate.

Raising the ethical standards and all

5. Good ethics encompass a range of actions and choices.

Kucinich fought against war, but provided aid and comfort to republicans on a range of other issues. So, I guess it boils down to what one thinks in most important. When I look at the range of decisions that a President must make and how those decisions impacts everyday people, Hillary Clinton is by far the best choice for our next President.

6. "aid and comfort to republicans." WFT? Republicans are our enemies?

This is one thing I dislike about DU.

13. Hardly.

The context of the bluestate10's comment -- "provided aid and comfort to republicans" -- is not unlike the wording in the Constitution of this country: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort." We are not talking about treason, but we are talking about enemies.

bluestate10 had a chance to correct my interpretation in responding to me; instead, the claim was justified. So, if you have issue with it, talk to bluestate10.

7. "everyday people"

Hillary is the woman who thinks that a person making $110,000 a year at their job is "middle class".

She did not want to raise the cap on social security taxes because that would be a "middle class" tax increase.

She would not know an "everyday person" if she stepped on one. The last time she lived as an everyday person was probably in 1977.

10. I don't want to burst your bubble, but a person making $110,000 per year in the Northeast,

California and the upper mid-Atlantic is in fact middle class. The areas mentioned cover something like 40% of americans. Hillary is right.

14. and yet somehow

the average income of the 4th 20% is still only $74,400. So 70% of HOUSEHOLDs, often with TWO incomes makes less than $75,000 and yet ONE person making $110,000 a year is "middle class".

Uhm, wrong.

4. I wasn't too warm to the idea of Hillary before I reevaluated politics...

Her popularity with the people, along with Presidents Obama and Clinton campaigning for her could very well help create a Democratic supermajority in Washington.

8. If her numbers hold up, I'm hoping HRC can be deployed in the midterms.....

much like her husband was in '08. She's free to engage in politics again, and I think there are areas of the country where her popularity could be a huge asset to Dem candidates, in tight races.

11. Bill Clinton is set to go full bore into the midterms. I think is is better to let Bill and the

President work the midterms and have Hillary keep her powder dry.
