2. Nah. Just more tragedy as innocents are shot in the crossfire....

Absolutely nothing to cheer here.

4. Absolutely tragic. And what would make it more tragic is if it turned out

that Dorner was treated unfairly as he describes in his manifesto. But, then, these things come down to who's telling the story. We only have Dorner's side of the story so far. As far as I know, the LAPD hasn't commented on their part in the Dorner story.

6. The manifesto is wildly incoherent, but sounds like Dorner was

alleging continuing fallout from the Ramparts scandal and possibly Rodney King aftermath.

11. Yes it was. I read the entire thing. If his story is the actual way things happened, then

Dorner himself may turn out to have been an innocent victim of sorts himself.

That, however, does not justify taking the lives of innocent people who had nothing to do with his story, or any other life for that matter. But you can only push some people just so far before they snap, unfortunately.

5. I'll wager 1/2 of LA is cheering for Dorner, the other 1/2 (or maybe the 1%)

cheering for the LAPD.

Watching Chief Beck hem and haw was noteworthy. What a putz!

13. Admit it, didn't you enjoy just the tiniest frisson watching Chief Beck's

eyes dance around nervously as he wondered whether he himself might be next on Dorner's target list?

After what was done to Occupy Los Angeles in November 2011, I couldn't give one right shit about the LAPD any longer.

8. Wow.

Not only is Dorner targeting policemen and their families, having killed three and wounded one already, the police themselves have already mistakenly shot two women just because they were driving a gray truck.

And the police can't seem to find him.

This one is a right mess.

9. I want to say "A plague on both your houses" since I have no sympathy left for the LAPD after

the goon squad busted up Occupy Los Angeles in November 2011. They protect and serve . . . the 1%.

14. Does the phrase 'Bringing the war home' mean anything to you? Dorner

was a veteran of the occupation of Afghanistan (Navy).
