For those of us who live in confederate states and won't get a health insurance exchange,

what will the online federal option look like and how affordable will the options be?

and the best answer I can find is.... no one knows.

ETA: it looks like it will be October before things get cleared up

3. If I can hold on for 1 more year I can get off FL Medicaid and get Medicare

I'm hoping to stay out if the hospital (for several reasons), but I'll be eligible for Medicare in about 13 months. Florida's Medicaid sux.

4. Florida's EMPLOYER insurance SUCKS

and I include in that Civil Servants. No difference. Not employed any more, not looking, but will turn 65 in November. Take THAT, stupid Florida.

6. I thought you would still get a health insurance exchange, but it would just be set-up

by the Federal Government. It probably will work out the best, as I can imagine the what the southern states would set up.

7. But there won't be any monetary help to make it cheaper.

So I wonder what kind of advantage it will provide.
