Comedy gold on Morning Joe today!
Eric Cantor's re-branding of the Republican Party was rolled out on the show this morning and it was a hoot! I laughed myself silly through the whole spiel! It was like the "Message: we care" flub made by George H.W. Bush back during his prez campaign (some of us remember that little episode fondly).
Eric Cantor really, really cares about working people and their day to day struggles! And Republican policies will really, really help those people (no specifics offered, just that they will really, really work! As soon as this segment of the show is up on the Morning Joe website I urge you, if you have the time, to watch it...not up when I checked a couple of minutes ago or I would have posted the link... DON'T MISS IT! Your day will be brighter...

Never.
But I commend you on your intestinal fortitude. I wish I had it. |

3. I know. I was expecting nausea to result but this was so embarrassing you had to love it!
|
He was trying SO hard to sound empathetic and he clearly cannot. And he has terrible acting skills as well. Insincere and all grovelly...

4. GOP believes middle and working class should work for lower wages, reduced benefits and
|
allow their pensions to be stripped by the corporate elite, in support of the redistribution of wealth from the worker to the privileged.
After all, GOP believes the financial elite knows how to spend all that money better than working families can. |

9. We just need to turn it back on them. THEY redistributed wealth upwards to the financial elite
|
at the expense of middle and working class families.

They change the graphics on the box and make sure NEW appears prominently on the the front of the box where it can be seen right away but inside it hasn't changed a bit. These clowns are pathetic. |

And a 'pound' of coffee is now about ten ounces. And 'half-gallon' of ice cream is 48 ounces. I guess we aren't supposed to notice. |

12. Yep, this is what someone at the top (probably Heritage) has decided for the GOP
|
Ted Cruz was talking about it last week, too.
This is what we're going to hear from EVERY republican during the next couple of months. |
