"I got out, but didn't help anybody else out." David H. Koch (of the Koch Brothers)

It was USAir Flight 1493, attempting to land at LAX on Friday, February 1st, 1991. Mr Koch appears at various times in this video (2.16 being the first), but his crucial statements run from 12.00 to 14.55

I offer this without commentary, as I, myself, have never experienced an air crash, and have no bloody clue as to how I might react in such a situation. I am posting this because I only very recently learned that one of the Koch brothers had been in an accident which claimed 34 lives.

1. That's generally what they tell you to do in the safety brief.

Too many people have tried to be helpful but just end up creating a bottleneck.
