And that includes quality US imports to the UK.

2. I brew and bottle/keg my own

I don't care for most of the BMC (Bud/Miller/Coors) offerings anymore. We do have a couple of good local breweries here that are on tap around town.

About 90% of my beer consumption these days is home brew though, I almost have more fun making it than drinking it

3. Absolutely!

Brew Your Own.

I've been homebrewing for about 3 years now. I brew, bottle and consume about 40 gallons/year.

My latest forray into homebrewing has involved distilling my own spirits; not quite as fun as brewing beer IMO I am also not a big liquor fan either.

I'm with you though, 90% of my beer consumption is microbrewed or homebrewed.

5. I just recently got a keg setup

It's pretty awesome and easy. I also just bottled 3 gallons of hard apple cider last night, ingredients cost $9 and I came out 34 twelve ounce bottles at 11% ABV.

An old neighbor of mine was a home wine maker, he used to make homemade brandy with some kind of freeze distillation technique and a salad spinner, it was good stuff!
