My pick is the Clydesdale ad. What's yours?

My 2nd pick, The Chrysler farmer ad.

Anyone else notice the huge number of ads promoting CBS programs? Were those unsold high dollar ad spaces?

3. Seemed like they filled the space in the power failure with CBS shows

Advertisers would probably argue that they didn't get their game advertisments if they were shown during the blackout

8. Opera, specifically Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro"

When a national sports championship becomes all about the commercials on the broadcast, we're done! My point is made.

The Stupid Bowl has nothing whatever to do with football.

10. The stain ad was quite cute

and ended up fitting the game like a glove. They really couldn't have scripted it much better. I also liked the Clydesdale ad.

18. It was a perfect mix of ridiculous yet not that much of a stretch to see it happening after the

grilled cheese & other crazy crap people turn into religious symbols. Plus, it fit the event which many ads don't. Clever & funny.

13. I thought both were horrible...

The jerk sold his horse to a beer company so it can pull a wagon for the publicity. The other was just baaaaaad altogether.

The good ones were Amy Poehler for Best Buy and the Montanaland one. Those were awesome.

Once a horse is trained, he joins the team....and the trainer says goodbye.

It was still a bad commercial...very contrived and over-the-top sappy. I prefered the fun ones.

31. I felt that way about the story. You raise and bond with the horse and then

sell him. How could he? It made me sad. I am weird that way.

Because you had no idea what they were trying to sell until the very end.

I liked the Farm one but was a bit off putting.

16. running in house ads for your network while you broadcast the super bowl is the best perk

behind the rights to the game.
especially since it kicks off sweeps weeks.

Budweiser is horrible beer but they do make the best commercials. I didn't get the point of the farmer's ad for Dodge trucks.

25. The tribute to farmers.

We have been farming our place for over 120 years and we (my husband, adult son and me) all liked the ad.

I'm disappointment, but not surprised, that, judging by the posts on other threads about the ad, people here are clueless about farmers and farming in general.

I liked the Chrysler ad because of the photography. I thought it was better than the Clint Eastwood ad last year.
