Man Spends 7 Years Drawing Incredibly Intricate Maze

Almost 30 years ago a Japanese custodian sat in front of a large A1 size sheet of white paper, whipped out a pen and started drawing the beginnings of diabolically complex maze, each twist and turn springing spontaneously from his brain onto the paper without aid of a computer. The hobby would consume him as he drew in his spare time until its completion nearly 7 years later when the final labyrinth was rolled up and almost forgotten. Twitter user @Kya7y was recently going through some of her fatherís old things (heís still a custodian at a public university) when she happened upon the maze and snapped a few photos to share on Twitter. She was quickly inundated by requests from friends and eventually strangers who had endless questions, the most obvious being: are you making prints!? Iím not sure if prints will be made (Iíll definitely let you know if I hear anything), but it still boggles the mind simply looking at these few snapshots.

3. "You are in a maze of twisty passages all alike"

This is nothing new. It goes back to Crowther and Woods and their Colossal Cave.

Now, if this guy can populate his colossal cave with evil dwarves, dragons, bears, the maze in the title (plus another with passages all different), and treasures and puzzles galore, then he'd have something.

Waiting...

Nevermind, "Plugh!" "XYZZY!"

Ah! Yes!

You are standing at the end of a road before a small brick building. Around you is a forest. A small stream flows out of the building and down a gully.

And it begins...

6. I remember playing that

We used a digital decwriter 3 dot matrix printer w/keyboard as an interface. It was a blast.

Dad was using a new system at work and he would take me to work during the summer to play that game and chess (although we just called it 'adventure').

Tuesday.

The republican brain has only two states, yes and (mostly) no. There are no gray areas, partial solutions are not allowed.
