6. Loving it. But derivative of Shakira, IMO!

It's the children, we must not let their tender eyes see:

26. Of course she Lip Sync'ed again.

A live performance setup that quickly in a stadium would have been nearly impossible to pull off. Besides, no one can dance that intensely and sing at the same time. She would have been breathless even being in shape. Just like Pink's performance at the Grammy's. If you believe Pink was really singing while she did her Cirque du Soleil acrobatic performance, I have some beach front property in Arizona, I would love to sell you.

3. Frankly I prefer the cheerleaders. If this is what passes as entertainment for the....

masses of the young. Count me out.

As a child of the 70s almost anything that came out of the 60s, 70s, and early 80s was easier to listen to than this.

12. Well I was personally thinking of the Lincoln Center Jazz Band...

I guess I would even ignore the "marching" part.

But I don't favor nightclub acts for football halftime.

16. The Locke High School Marching Band from Los Angeles would be my choice.

I first saw them during my first visit to the Rose Parade and they totally blew me away. I'd seen marching bands many times, but this kids didn't just march, they DANCED down Colorado Boulevard.

Freaking awesome.

10. You have to be kidding, gripers. THis woman is kicking some ass. Outstanding!

I don't have a single Beyoncé album and don't pay her a lot of attention, but her voice is wonderful, she's doing a complicated, very sexy routine. I imagine the young men of America are lying in puddles. Well done.

14. You know, she reminds me of TLC and Lisa Left Eye Lopes.

Ahead of her time, Lisa and TLC, I think.

Beyonce, derivative of Shakira but tonight I loved the techno-video screens effects!

21. I have no problem with cheerleaders

It has become a sport in its own right.

But there is a slight difference; a singer is performing an art while a cheerleading in theory at least is just support.
