Charge: Man tied up girl, 4, then shot her with pellets
A Lynnwood man accused of repeatedly shooting his 4-year-old stepdaughter with an Airsoft pellet gun was charged Thursday with second-degree assault.
Documents filed in Snohomish County Superior Court say the pain inflicted on the girl was "the equivalent of that produced by torture." The suspect, Stetson G. Tedder, 26, of Lynnwood was booked into the Snohomish County jail last week. He was released Saturday after posting $25,000 bail. Court documents say Tedder bound the girl with zip ties and duct tape, then shot her at least three-dozen times with plastic pellets until her skin looked like chicken pox. Last edited Fri Feb 1, 2013, 11:53 PM USA/ET - Edit history (2) where that "other family" was at. I was 15, 12 and 10 years older than my younger sisters that Mom had with my SD. I wasn't even allowed in family pictures. Now Mom and s-father are gone and my sisters claim I am not their family. My blood father is a molesting pervert, so had very little contact over the years.
I hope your girls grow up to understand exactly how much your gift of being their Dad means. Every little girl deserves a Daddy that adores her. Have fun with the teens coming up! Wild ride for sure! You are awesome! I'm not horribly deformed or anything, so it wasn't that keeping me out of the photos. |

That's terrible to keep you out of family photos. If anything, I always default as the outsider because a step parent is the one who comes into the existing family and needs to do the work to fit in. At least on the bright side, you know what not to do when creating a solid family. Hopefully, family life is better for you now.
Much of my family is a bunch of pukes and they treat my smaller subset of the family like strangers too, but we're more than happy to celebrate holidays and enjoy life together even though there are not many of us. Makes Thanksgiving much better when you don't have to hear about "family values" while being called a commie by your own family lol |

I don't know. In the heat of anger who knows what somebody would do if they saw him doing this.
Were there, the first thing I'd to is see if the girl is okay, get some cold packs, hug her, and take her to the emergency room and when they find out what happened, I'm sure the law will come up with something...first concern is the kid, not punishment. |

65. Why the rape fixation?
|
I said rape was not necessary for my sense of justice.... Let's make something clear right now...no matter what happens to him, he will never 'pay the price' for what he did to that little girl. This was neither a victimless crime nor a crime against property, for which one can indeed 'pay their debt to society'. The notion that he can somehow make restitution for the damage he has done to a 4-year-old child, who will carry the psychological scars throughout life, would be ludicrous if it weren't so tragically misguided.

I stated a simple emotional reaction, which will pretty much reflect the reality of his life if he is convicted and sent to prison. As to his basic human rights...what human rights did he accord to the child he repeatedly tortured? I'm sorry if that does not square with your liberal sensibilities, but as someone who survived a physically abusive mother, who didn't grow up to abuse my own children I have zero tolerance for this type of behavior and even less sympathy.

I recall years ago some local radio hosts had a discussion about a child torturer and murderer Donald Mcdougall. He was killed less than a week later in prison.
Fm Station Sued Over Slaying Of Child Killer Real Radio's Shock Jocks Are Accused Of Broadcasting A Reward For The Death Of Donald Mcdougall In A 1996 Program. October 2, 1998|By Debbie Salamone Wickham of The Sentinel Staff An Orlando radio station is being sued over a 1996 broadcast in which callers talked of killing an imprisoned child murderer, who later wound up dead. Donald McDougall's survivors blame his demise on The Russ and Bo Show, broadcast on Real Radio 104.1, WTKS-FM. The lawsuit, filed this week in federal court in Tampa, accuses the radio station of causing emotional distress and a wrongful death. McDougall was notorious for the 1982 torture killing of 5-year-old Ursula Sunshine Assaid in Altamonte Springs. The blond-haired child was abused for several months and then dumped in a pond after her death. McDougall was serving time at Avon Park Correctional Institution in Polk County when fellow inmate Arba Earl Barr beat him to death with an iron horseshoe stake on Oct. 1, 1996. http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/1998-10-02/news/9810020075_1_donald-mcdougall-russ-rollins-broadcast I heard the show and the news days later. I have a hard time condoning vigilante justice, but I haven't an iota of sympathy for the man. |

48. Second degree assault? This is unlawful restraint and torture.

This son of a bitch should not be out on bail. He should be in a holding cell having the shit kicked out of him by his fellows as he awaits trial.
This is sickening. |

53. Any WHY the hell is the "mother" not in jail as well?
|
"The girl told police that her mom left the house when Tedder was shooting at her with the gun because "she doesn't want to hear her cry," court documents say."
"Mothers" who put their men above their children earn a special kind of disgust from me. |

58. She wants to be a punching bag

so as to satisfy her man, that's up to her. Putting your 4-year-old up as fodder to satisfy your man is not an option. I know of what I speak. Intimately.

62. Are you assuming I meant the mother? I have no clue who the other victim(s) are from the report.
|
I am certainly not defending that disturbed excuse for a mother. I immediately thought that there could be another child or children in the home.
The mother obviously has severe issues to walk out and leave her child in that situation. Thank the universe for the grandmother. |

63. I did and I shouldn't have.

This story just hit a nerve. Didn't mean to sound snappy to you and I apologize if it came off that way.
