1. The debate is over the relationship between the two.

And I still think the problem is more pistols than whatever "assault weapon" means.

7. You posting from the great beyond? Is the government going to execute you on the next purchase?

If someone is convicted of murdering you by any means then they will face the weight of the law but having the means to potentially kill someone is not a violation of your right to life, in fact you are under no no direct, imminent, or personal threat whatsoever.
