1. this is screwed up. Men who help women are immensely valued. It is just crazy to think

otherwise.

4. There are not enough dimensions in the study.

One would expect a stay at home wife to do most of the housework. Housework by itself is trivial compared to working out of the house AND doing half the housework.

In other words, less total work is required of a one-earner family. Both parties would then theoretically be less tired at the end of the day.

In other, other words, "husbands who do a share of the housework" are probably married to a stressed woman who works outside the house.

What would be interesting is to see if stay at home wives or stay at home husbands have more sex. I'd be willing to bet that the two groups would be comparable, because both families are less overworked. I think it has nothing to do with gender roles, than the total level of work required of the parties.

It's frustrating for a data-driven guy that there are lots of bullshit studies like this out there competing for newspaper column inches, while it's nearly impossible to find data on fairly basic demographic stuff.

5. Couples who SAY that

the man does less chores also SAY that they have more sex.

6. payoff... 1.6 more times a months gives her 68 hours more work a month.

since it is the man that has to have down time, i am gonna conclude he is the one denying the woman extra sex.

this was a study two decades ago with a questionerre.

and today, there is no relevance to the numbers so the whole subject is void. they find amount of sex about even.

and this is like the 5th time thread on du.
