1. if that ugly aspect of america could be changed what stops us from changing the rest?

From gun control to gay marriage to women's rights in the office and the bedroom it is time to move this country into the 21st century kicking and screaming if it need be. Repeal DOMA, abolish the second amendment and pass the fucking ERA already.

and Mr. Robinson was one damned brave man.

2. Too many folks don't know his story

and how he was treated by so called baseball fans.
Sadly it did pain him - he was dead at 53.

3. damn I knew he went early, diabetes wasn't it

But speaking as a soon to be 52 year-old 53 is way way too young.

5. It's a small thing, but as a baseball fan, it pleases me to know that no major leaguer will ...

ever again wear #42, unless it is in recognition of Jack Roosevelt Robinson.

12. Whitey Ford had that long windup even with someone on third.

Oh, and CNN says that play is just too close to call.

13. It was close, for sure...

and nothing is going to change anything, but I suspect Berra was right all those years, and I guarantee he's not going to change his story.

Why has your boy spent $1,700,000. to three law firms to conceal his birth, adoption and Indonesian passport records.

We will see whether your Muslim Messiah is even Constitutionally eligible when he is challenged in court.

Would love to see the anti-American trash lead from the White House in handcuffs.

18. That was back in 2010, and the Spammers were out in force

I think they were awarded points for posting the White-wing meme of the day, redeemable for crappy prizes made in China. Suckers, every one of them; they got played.
