I Bet Wayne LaPierre Was Just Praying That There Would Be No Shootings Occuring In The U.S. During..

this hearing. I was only listening to this hearing from another room and not watching it. I was wondering if the camera was put on LaPierre when Cpt. Kelly was announcing the fact that there was just a shooting in Arizona. I would have liked to have seen LaPierre's face.

1. He does not care about deaths from firearms. Just sales.

Don't fool yourself.

4. ... and yet there was. In Phoenix.

I wonder if anyone on the panel thought to ask him why no guns were allowed at the recent NRA meeting, since he's so fond of them & they're so 'harmless'...

9. If you could link to this

I would absolutely love it. I often wonder if, for instance, when the NRA board meets, it meets in a building screened for fire arms. I also heard that firearms weren't allowed into the recent NRA presser--but couldn't find a link.

For an organization that attacks the president for his "hypocrisy" in accepting Secret Service protection for his daughters, you would think it would absolutely oppose having its meetings in "gun free zones." What are they afraid of? That some armed attacker might take them out, before they get the chance to play Rambo?

There's a few on the intertubes from the 2010 and 2011 meetings also, same policy, but this was for Dec 2012, just a week or so after Newton MA.

5. Just Another Day In Paradise...

In Wayne's world another shooting means another chance to amp up fear and hate...and then in sales. We'll hear more about "good guys" and "bad guys" and more blood will flow. Wayne will fly to the nearest microphone and play the martyr...then put out a ton of appeal emails to soak his members. This is why this guy brings in the big bucks...
