Tar and Feathers are Out of Style, not to mention violent and painful- What is today's way to shame?

The Government Accountability Office said Thursday that it could not complete an audit of the federal government, pointing to serious problems with the Department of Defense.

Along with the Pentagon, the GAO cited the Department of Homeland Security as having problems so significant that it was impossible for investigators to audit it. The DHS got a qualified audit for fiscal year 2012, and is seeking an unqualified audit for 2013.

Take for instance Boehner, and all the lying asshole hypocritical Republican bastards in Congress who go on and on about needing to cut social security (which is separately and fully funded)...

meanwhile the pentagon takes 60 % of the budget and it is not audited.

Homeland Security (a gross violation of our Constitution) now consumes as much as the education budget which the Republicans like to complain about incessantly...cannot be audited

We can't wait for the corrupt corporate media to cover this,

We need a shame campaign on the net.

These disgusting assholes cannot be allowed to get away with this any longer.

People are dying because of their policies, as these most ignorant selfish idiots continue to one up themselves.

1. Take thousands of photographs at every possible opportunity, and post the embarrassing ones

...on the Web.

2. Tarring And Feathering Was Usually Fatal From The Burns Of The Hot Tar.

Unfortunately I have used the term too loosely at times. In a special on John Adams an actual tarring and feathering was actually enacted. Not pretty. Probably one of the most humiliating things you can do to a person.

5. You can do a lot as a pundit with simple passive-aggressive words.

I heard a little of Al Sharpton last night. Whoever it was who was speaking used the usual mild language. I want to hear SOMEONE say something like this:

"Well, Reverend Al, I'm not sure why you need to ask me that question. It's become very clear that these people simply aren't very bright. After defending terms like 'legitimate rape', they don't seem to understand even the basics of how to be a politician any longer."

8. In order for someone to feel shame, they have to have a heart and conscience.

Since rethugs have neither, nor compassion, it is impossible to shame them.

Better to just eliminate them since it is futile to try and change them.

11. If everyone treated them as the corrupt scum that they are, perhaps they would feel shame

right now they live in a bubble of lobbyists who love them with a corrupt corporate media that covers their asses. It's sick!

There's a dog shaming account on Tumblr. There really needs to be politician shaming.

This probably wouldn't work either without someone getting hurt but it's a nice thought.

Thanks for the thread, Fight2Win

18. Sometimes the traditional methods are best. Shame is of little to no consequence

Fear on the other hand, too many have forgotten and need stark reminders.

You think Gandhi won? How is it his people are still sleeping under sewing machines in sweat shops or scrape by essentially homeless as day laborers hoping to make enough for a nightly rental and poor fare to hold back starvation generations after "winning"?

No the Brits left and the capitalists rolled in, same motherfuckers but claiming not to rule.
