3. The Weeping Angels

are one of the high points of science fiction for me. I love Dr. Who. The writing is just so damned good. Now you've got me jonesing. I've got to go fire up some old episodes...

5. A weeping angel is a halloween costume I've been wanting to recreate.

Haven't had time to do it yet, but it's awesome.

8. That scene in "Blink" in Season 3

where Sally and Lawrence realized that neither of them were looking at the statue the entire time the Doctor was talking...Jesus Christ, I didn't sleep the night after I first watched that episode.

9. My 9 year old daughter and I were watching that episode

and she was very spooked by it. A fun kind of spooked, but spooked nonetheless.

We have a couple of small angel statues around the house. I don't even know where they came from, we're always piddling around antique stores and such.

The statues are neither weeping nor snarling, but they were still useful. When she went to bed that night I put three of them on her nightstand where she always fumbles for her glasses when she wakes up. She shrieked the next morning and then chased me around the house trying to smack me on the rear. Good times.

11. The Angels and The Silence

are the first really scary villains I have seen in years.

My niece absolutely loves The Doctor. As her uncle, I took educating her as an important task, and I have indoctrinated her with into the Whoniverse, Torchwood, Sherlock, The IT Crowd, Black Adder, Monty Python, and Queen.

13. Yes.

Watched 'The Meaning of Life' last night with my 13 year old and we laughed hysterically. And 'Best of Queen' is on heavy rotation on her iPod. Sounds like we have some similar family dynamics going on.

21. I was spooked by that episode

It was a really good episode, one of my favorites and the one I use to hook people on the Doctor.

16. Amazing how you can take something as mundane

as a statute and make it very sinister and creepy.

25. It's good all right. Except when Moffatt falls down on the job.

I will never forgive him for part 2 of 'When A Good Man Goes To War'. Which was not even titled Part 2!

I think they're hysterical more than anything. The weeping angels, on the other hand, are scary as hell!

'That which holds an image of an Angel becomes itself an Angel.' We'll never blink again, maybe we can take shifts.

Nice find. Love the Weeping Angels.

26. Major Dr. Who fan...

and I love the Weeping Angels...scared of them...but love them.

However, I adored the "I Built A Tardis' video... incredibly adorable doesn't do this imaginative, clever, and witty young woman enough justice. She and the video are a total delight.

Thanks so much for posting, Kevin Mace!
