Hillary faces down the angry men

From simpleton Ron Johnson to delusional Rand Paul, GOP senators swung at the Secretary of State and hit themselves

Three weeks after her release from a New York hospital with a blood clot on the brain – a health emergency mocked on the right as “Benghazi flu” — Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave Senate Republicans their day of rage over the Sept. 11 Benghazi killings on Wednesday.

From the intellectually underwhelming Ron Johnson of Wisconsin to the ever-angrier John McCain, with cameos by unimpressive 2016 hopefuls Rand Paul and Marco Rubio, Clinton stood up to the raging bulls with grace and fire of her own.

The stature gap between Clinton and those possible 2016 rivals – OK, nobody’s announced they’re running, but I couldn’t help thinking about it – was enormous. When Rand Paul huffed “had I been President at the time and I found that you did not read the cables I would have relieved you of your duties,” it wasn’t intimidating but funny. President Rand Paul? Try to say that without laughing.

Even worse, MY reprehensible Rep. is Senselessbrenner.

Gets worse -- I live in Walkersha County.

I weep for Wisconsin.

4. I kinda wish the female angle was left out of it. I didn't think it did Susan Rice any good

for the media to portray her as some sort of female (or black) victim when she was being hounded. Women are just as tough, don't need to make a big deal out of the male/female thing.

12. I don't expect them to be any "gentler" to her because she's a woman, is all I'm saying.

I hate the whole "she was up against a panel of angry mean MEN and still held her own!" thing--it's demeaning.

14. You mean the House hearing--Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA)

The guy who thought Hillary could have watched the attack in real time on a monitor. (I can't wait 'til the fact-checkers roast him!)
