Reporters, friends of Journalists, etc reading DU

Rand Paul has said in his questioning of Sec. of State Clinton that Benghazi "..was the worst tragedy since 911."

Mr. Paul needs to account for this statement. The press needs to invite Mr. Paul to explain his comment and ask him if he is suggesting that the tragedies Newtown, Aurora and Virginia Tech don't rise to the level of Benghazi?

All deaths are a tragedy, however, this is still a valid question that needs to be put to Paul because of the clear political implications.

Mr. Paul's assertion suggests a representative that is out of touch and even unconcerned with the suffering of average Americans.

I ask anyone in the press or with access to people working in the press to invite Mr. Paul to explain his statement and, specifically, to explain his heavily implied disregard of Newtown, Aurora and similar tragedies since 911.

This asshole needs to be put in full back-peddle mode!

Thank you.

3. +1!

Our potential 2016 presidential nominee is under attack right now and we have to back her up. We need to take down Paul a notch or two. Put him on defense.

4. You are not going to ask those news READERS to actually do the

job of a reporter or even an investigative reporter are you? Come on now, that went out years ago.

6. The news loves controversy

and haranguing politicians for misstatements so maybe they will like this angle. To use an old phrase, it's seems right up their alley.

7. I hope they brought up Reagan and Beirut

I didn't see the whole testimony. Reagan and the Beirut bombing will shut them down asap, considering how highly regarded Reagan is even after 241 deaths..

8. I didn't see it all, either, but twice it came out. The new Senator Patrick Murphy was the one that

stood out for me. Predict he'll be around for a long time. Did not know he used to be a Republican.
