You can bet your ass that when the President retires....

....in 2017 he won't take up painting dogs. As the article states, Two Shoes McClown needs loyalty above all and will end up a sad, isolated, old man.

And fuck him, say I.

George W. Bush Whiles Away the Time Painting Pictures of Dogs

Being a retired Leader of the Free World is a lot like being a retired anything else, at least for George W. Bush, who spends his days painting portraits of dogs. Okay, that's not all Bush does with his time off: according to New York's Joe Hagan, he also paints Texas landscapes, plays golf, and eats at restaurants like so many grandparents. But the dog painting is remarkable given his personality. "I find it stunning that he has the patience to sit and take instruction and paint," a former aide tells Hagan, in a story examining the Bush legacy and whether brother Jeb can overcome it. Still, Bush has bigger things to think about than that his grandchildren never call:

2. Well, he is a good eater

Early on during his pretzelduncy, Pickles told us so, bragging about a trait that is normally reserved for finicky toddlers.

3. that little article is just creepy. I love the "over the top" comment

"

W. remains convinced history will vindicate him. But the Bush family is well aware of the damage to their future prospects. Perhaps none more than Jeb, the new custodian of the family brand. Jeb is highly pained, says a friend. He is so loyal. Jeb knows some of the missteps, but Jeb is profoundly impacted by the kind of criticism hes taken about his brother. Its over the top.

the man does not like people--never did--so what in the HELL was he doing in politics? oh, never mind. . .

6. i said long ago -- and remain convinced -- the only reason he ran for president was to kill saddam

saddam was our guy during the iran-iraq war, but at some point he crossed poppy and then we had iraq #1.

poppy's decision to stop short of baghdad or more precisely, the fact that saddam survived the expected internal power struggle, infuriated shrub and finally gave him an actual goal in life, to do what his father failed to do.

remember that shrub wanted to go to war against iraq immediately after 9/11, was prevented from doing so, then proceeded on a campaign of massive lies in order to get us into iraq war #2.

11. I do believe you are correct, at least in part, about his motivation. don't forget that pnac

(project for the new american century) had drawn up plans for the invasion of iraq years before 9/11. all they were waiting for was an excuse. remember that letter to president clinton? remember the signatures on it? scary stuff, indeed.

4. Jimmy Carter paints houses for the needy.

Even though he is in his upper 80's. And Roz does too.

Smirky is as useless in retirement as he was in office.

12. and so it begins...the disowning of Dubya by the family and GOP.....

Jeb is highly pained, says a friend. He is so loyal. Jeb knows some of the missteps, but Jeb is profoundly impacted by the kind of criticism hes taken about his brother. Its over the top.
