Senator Schumer toasts the Vice President and the Vice President will presumably toast the President.

Edit: Biden toasted Schumer, Harry Reid will give the Official Toast to the President.

Who else is excited for the parade? I heard Rachel Maddow say that the Hawaii float has a volcano.

It's really too bad he doesn't have his Anger Translator Luther with him throughout these proceedings

41. List of Floats:

- The Hawaii float, honoring Mr. Obama’s birthplace. It features a large volcano modeled after Diamond Head, on the island of Oahu, as well as a tribute to the late Senator Daniel K. Inouye, the Hawaii Democrat who died last month.

- The Illinois float, for the birthplace of Michelle Obama, the first lady. The float includes American flags, the state flag and a panorama of its Capitol.

- The Pennsylvania float, commemorating the birthplace of Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. It includes a replica of the Liberty Bell and the Pennsylvania state seal.

- The Delaware float, for Mr. Biden’s home state, which includes a replica of the bell tower at the state Capitol.

- The Martin Luther King Jr. float, which features an image of Dr. King and a representation of his quote “out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope.”

- The civil rights movement float, which represents movements to advance the rights of immigrants, women, gay people and union workers. It includes one of Mr. Obama’s favorite quotes, from Dr. King: “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.’’

- The Tuskegee Airmen float, a tribute to the first African-American military aviators in the United States armed forces. The float features a model North American P-51 Mustang.

- The “Our People. Our Future” float, which will reflect Mr. Obama’s inaugural theme.

79. Oh, ask anyone, I'm a very serious DU -er, but I too enjoy indulging my love of style. Mom taught

all of her girls how to sew, so I love good fabrics, cut, styling, and workwo/manship and how all of that goes together into the right garment for the right person, which is what we are looking at right now.

I like the neckline too, it's unusual and she carries it well. Her hair today balances the proportions of the design in the dress.

Gorgeous
On edit: knee boots, but slouching at mid calf. I think.

90. Here comes the parade:

http://www.2013pic.org/about/parade

Obama’s inaugural theme.

and try to give her 10 minute notice...her response: "ok, they are guys, THEY just have to throw on a pair of jeans and a t shirt...*I* have to do makeup, pick out the right outfit, then pick yet another outfit and change into it"
Either that or if she is talking to indecisive friends: "Ok, guys, decide NOW **before** I wipe of the makeup cuz after THAT, I'm a no go"!

100. lol true

It's a long day for them - probably up at around 6 a.m. and I would imagine they won't go to bed until late - at least 16 hours.

Glad there's only 2 official balls tonight and not like 12.

there was a Lesbian and Gay Band Association. That's cool. I'm not really surprised they're from St. Louis. I know a lot of people there. I went to a really cool Catholic church there that is LGBT friendly. Not just friendly, but half the congregation. The other half was great, too.

There is no way today's speech was "divisive" or meant only for the "51% who voted for him."

How idiotic that 4 years later he's still shilling for asshole Bush. I suppose its all he's got.

Now back to more enjoyable things like watching the President enjoy his parade.
