2. Sounds to me like they are making a point about how government provides a certain

frame in which we can live without constant fear of crime. It's a nice jab at all those asshats who cry and whine about the government taking away their "freedumbs". They curse the very foundations on which they walk. This "Project: Free America" does a nice job of sarcasm and wit that skillfully turns right-wing tactics on their head.

But it wouldn't surprise me a bit if there were people out there who took it seriously and supported it.

4. Sure, why not. I'd be curious to see more. Their suggestions are really over the top

and sounds pretty funny. I'm guessing there's little chance they actually believe it literally. If not, they are going to get an eyeful of DU scrutiny.

7. It's an awkward framing as most pro-RKBA arguments center on the "freedumb"

to defend one's self from rapists and murderers. And since police cannot get involved until AFTER a crime has been committed the only people who can defend against the rapists and murderers are average citizens.

IMO this is showing us how crazy it has gotten. They may as well make murder legal if they are going to insists on keeping assault weapons legal.
