3. Wasn't the NRA giving away those manhood cards or something? Balls on paper only, right?

What happened between then and now?

Flaking cowardly pissants.

4. I don't think that needing

a weapon like that to defend oneself from the government is a good reason to own one,
but if the outcome implied by the illustration is so certain, one wonders why the "win" in Afghanistan is so unconvincing, despite a hugely disproportionate level of armaments between the two sides? Vietnam and a few other conflicts come to mind, as well. I'm not at all sure that the ultimate outcome would be as predictable as some might assume.

5. You forgot these...

Castle Bravo test, 1954, which went horribly wrong!

Here's video and commentary (William Shatner, voice over):

From Trinity and Beyond: The Atomic Bomb Movie. Shatner narrated this devastating documentary about US and Soviet atomic bomb tests. Worth a watch.

The whole thing is even available online:
Here -- Hulu.com

Recommended, especially if you weren't alive when we were doing this shit.

6. Mr. Scorpio. apparently you missed this one detail of their fantasy, which makes it all work:

See, they took out the guys in the tank and could take out the drones and the helicopters and the bomber...

Well, maybe not so much.

But their other plan is to have the army turn on the POTUS. Just gotta work with the thing, okay?
