8. I don't own a gun and I don't want a gun. We'll be in trouble if they ever make it mandatory in our

homes.

10. I believe the Constitution says ...

... the RIGHT to bear arms ... not the OBLIGATION to bear arms.

I support your RIGHT not to bear them if that is your choice.

18. I don't have to because I live in a rural area and can even go outside and tee tee if I wanted

to. But the best repelant for someone breaking into my house would be to see me in my bare body. Its enough for me to run away from me. LOL

for a bomb and we could bomb Russia. Yep that what he said. So there are ways. Mass bombing.

7. I know I am

my town of 45,000 has had two shootings in 15 years. Rhode Island is like most states - violent crime is geographically isolated to a very small area.

11. I don't feel unsafe.

Just as I didn't freak out in paranoia over terrorists when 9/11 happened, I feel equally unintimidated or paranoid about mass shootings after this latest incident.

I don't scare easy.

12. It is actually very safe in the US

We live in the most peaceful era in human history including the time before guns were invented. Let that sink in for a second. You are safer in America today, than you were before guns were invented.

15. "Metro" Do you live in the suburbs of Detroit like me? It is very safe in the suburbs

If you live in Detroit: Why do you think Detroit has pandemic crime while the suburbs have very little despite being walking distance from some of the worse neighborhoods in Detroit?

I can tell you with certainty the difference between pandemic crime and comforting safety isn't gun laws/availability.

17. Well, except for places like Jamaica where guns are banned. The country is drowning in gun crime

because somehow the thugs didn't get the memo.
