4. Just saw that...

He had the balls to say the President should be apologizing to the children he had on stage, for using them?? Unbelievable..

5. I was watching myself. When he said that did you notice Andrea's face? She thought he

was nutso. I was shocked the way he was talking. He really is out of touch. This group has finally come to the fringe. When she asked him about the children of politicans being out of bounds. She mention the Bush twins. He said they were hounded. She let it go because it was the end of the segment. I would have said give me an example? He wouldn't of had one.

6. He made no sense

When Mitchell said that Constitutional amendments are not absolute and people don't need assault weapons, he stated that the amendments come from the bill of rights, not the "bill of needs". But then he had to acknowledge that people shouldn't be in possession of heavy machine guns and thus implied the right to own guns is not absolute, thus contradicting himself . There must be limits, otherwise people who live in apartments buildings, for example, would constantly wonder if their neighbor has some C-4 military explosive in their closet and might blow up the entire building at any moment, if we placed no limits.

7. she did try to get him to respond about the NRA

It took a few tries and he gave a very awful no sense answer. I think she was disgusted and I think she dissed him with a curt thank you and not saying his name.

9. Where is the sane version of the NRA? For responsible, socially aware gun owners?

10. Members need to speak up

All we hear about are new members signing up. We need to hear about the sane NRA people renouncing their memberships, or calling for change loudly.

11. Its happening, albeit quietly.

I predict Wayne LaPierre will go away after this legislative situation settles down.

I believe the NRA era of extreme hyperbole will be coming to an end soon.
