NRA Is Simply a Disease on the Body Politic

It takes a lot for the NRA to shock. But this is just beyond disgusting. The NRA has launched a new ad campaign calling President Obama a ‘hypocrite’ for allowing armed Secret Service agents to protect his school aged daughters.

There are so many vile things about this ad. But one thing to note is the ad is really only designed to appeal to people who have a deep — really deep — animosity toward the President. The sort of people who don’t think he and his daughters should be in the White House and wish him the sort of ill citizens should never wish upon a freely elected head of state.

2. I'd say it's highly probable that the vast majority of death threats made against Obama's children

came from NRA members.

And you know there have literally been thousands since he was first elected as this president and his family have had more threats than any president before him.

3. Oh, and ANY station that runs the vile ad

should have EVERY advertiser on the network contacted for boycott.

This is simply an unacceptable ad and the vile crap should not be accepted by any station.

I'd say it's only a matter of time before the SPLC puts them on their list.
