7. Good. only one, not five as reported on another thread.

And189 GOP that need to go, since they took aid in the past. I think the pressure of not passing any aid is what go the other GOP to vote yes. What they're doing to one of the most important economic areas of the country is nothing less than sabotage. I hope this indicatesa group of representatives that can be called to vote for progressive measures, although I doubt it. The stench of the GOP delay on this relief was strong.

3. The stated objection to the bill is that it was loaded up with expenditures not

related to the Sandy problems.

I doubt that it is true, but there have been other bills that started out as single purpose vehicles, but somehow ended up with all kinds of non-relevant do-dads attached. That's not good legislative practice in my book, but it is common.
