2. That book is out of print

The price is an indicator of the demand on the secondary market.

3. It's fascinating though ...how "Out of Print Book" by "Kos" would command such a high fee!

Must be in high DEMAND...to get that kind of seller price.

5. Meh, so many come and go through the secondary market

that you can get a copy for $7.

It's just that lots of copies are sold on the secondary market, driving up the Amazon original price algorithm

7. Cool! Can you give a link to the $7.00 SITE? Those of us who own it, though

would rather get the HIGH PRICE....but for the peasants and serfs amongst us who want to get it...can you give THE LINK for $7.

That would be a HUGE SAVINGS for those who want to read it "Underground" ...Of Course!

Thanks!

EDITED: TYPO: AMONST FOR AMONGST US.

4. I spent that much on a 3 volume books on history. I can't see spending that much

on one book. I'll wait till the price comes way down.

6. All of us who Own that Book better head off to "E-Bay or Amazon" and put it out there!

Times are tough...this could be some BIG "Pocket Change" for those of us who own it.

Just saying....Times are Tough...gotta do what we gotta do.

11. Amazon set that price somehow. Maybe it's considered a "Rare Book"

even though poster on this thread says you can get it for 7 Bucks.

I have no idea how that works on Amazon...that there's such a price discrepancy....

12. I love Amazon but have never before seen this kind of ridiculous thing on their site.

I have seen third party sellers charging big premiums for hard to find items, but never Amazon itself.
