1. I'd prefer Warren- Sanders or vice versa.

But, I guess Bernie isn't a dem so that might not work. Yeah I'd vote for Warren Franken

3. Bernie would be a good choice,

But I think Warren Franken would lock up 16 years, plus Franken would be a fun VP.

49. Mitt ran for senator to the LEFT of Ted Kennedy:

We figured he was a Weld Republican, i.e., would be called a flaming Liberal in most any other part of the country. Once elected Senator, he rocketed to the right (like a lot of pols do these days).

But the chances of both of them saying, "Naw" to the brass ring? Almost impossible.

13. He's certainly kept a high profile lately

That last minute fiscal cliff deal was all his, and the gun stuff tells me he's trying hard, too. I suppose that the President owes him more than he owes Hillary, who can manage all on her own to create headlines, even if its for just taking a few sick days.

9. "They" will never let Warren be President. Never.

The Establishment won't allow it. She's too much of a threat in the Senate already.

Sorry for my cynicism, but the genuine real deal politicians get stomped...even by their own party sometimes.

14. Frankly, I thought the same thing about her chances of being Senator

I really believed that the reich wing banksters would absolutely defeat her, but they didn't reckon on the massive vote against the Repukes a couple of months ago. I have to take comfort in the fact that you still can't buy everything in this country.

just because I think it makes the statement more clearly

Low information voters may not be able to wrap their heads around the man being on the bottom, of the ticket that is.

I was thinking Warren - Napolitano

Too much can happen in four years. Revisiting this sometime in 2014 would make sense. Right now, it doesn't.

He has done everything to that end... not to build any kind of national following at this time.

One of my favorite Senators, but I don't think it will be 2016.

... any more would be stalking. I'd bear her children.

But...

Clinton will massacre any opposition.

We don't need a contest in 2016. We need a total rout to put the Repubs in their place. They got nobody.

50. I agree... but

Considering all the vote supression, the electronic voting, the gerrymandering, the total lunacy and lack of reality based thinking in large parts of this country, I think half a loaf is better than none.

What happens if Warren loses to... let's say... Rubio or Christie?

55. Christie would slaughter Warren. Judging by DU, Democrats make up half his base!

Every Independent in the country will vote for him against her. I had to block several long time Democrats here because they couldn't shut the fuck up about what a great Governor he is and how much they like him!

47. No. Warren and Franken Serve Progressive Causes Better by Staying Right Where They're At

Look at the career of Hubert Humphrey. Look at all of the tremendous progressive legislation that he has helped get passed in the senate.

A long, tenured senator has more power than you know. In fact, I hope that President Obama returns to the Senate after his second term.
