Bravo, New York!

Assembly vote expected to pass on time at 10 a.m.

Prompt, decisive action on the gun control debate...thank you!

1. yup, for the most part I love my governor

He keeps saying over and over again that he wants to make NY the progressive capitol of our nation. I sure hope so!

3. The only thing that gets me is how he endorsed a handful of republican assembly members

for re-election.

However, I think that was fair considering the ones that he endorsed all broke ranks with the rest of the Republicans and voted for the gay marriage law last year. I'll give him a break on that one.

Frankly, I voted for Steve Saland (one of the repubs who voted for gay marriage that he endorsed) mostly as a result of his pro-LGBT vote. I loved the position paper he wrote and I view his actions as indicative of a true leader and not just someone who'll fall in line with the rest of his party.
