but even I have far too much to do to waste my time caring that somebody else is having a corrective surgical procedure or if two people of the same gender want to get married. Do these people really have so little in their life that this consumes them, that somebody, somewhere might find happiness?

Rush, on the other hand, is doing his level best to feed his insipid audience and so keeps coming up with more and more vile things to say, but that's how he makes his living. I can understand why he does it, even if the words themselves are worthy of nothing other than contempt. But it does take an exceptionally greedy and pathetic excuse person to go on the air, where the only respondents are those vacuous sycophants who agree with him, and call other people such infantile names.

On Friday, the Winston-Salem Journal published a headline story that ignited a firestorm of controversy. The article, written by John Hinton, claimed that there is a student at Salem College who is close to completing a gender reassignment surgery. This is not true. The Journal did not speak with the student or the student’s physician for their article. CCD has spoken to the student and learned that the student in question has not even undergone a partial gender-reassignment. However, the story has been widely circulated, including semi-national attention gained by being picked up by Rush Limbaugh.
