Any other San Franciscans remember the twin women who used to walk around and greet everyone?

Vivian Brown died.

They were so cute! I used to see them often when I lived there.

2. Ah yes! Saw them all the time when I lived in Nob Hill

I can't imagine how weird it would feel to lose someone you're so close with in so many ways

9. in the end it was very sad

seems they were taking up collections for them in Aug. of last year; no where that they could AFFORD to live and major sickness.

Oh don't I know this one alright.

I kind of left for the same reasons sadly.

3. YES! I saw them often around Union Square

Like, maybe, strolling from Saks Fifth Avenue over to I. Magnin. They made the rounds in their days, that's for sure.

4. of course I remember them!

Gee, I was but a young gal who loved to go shopping (but had no money of course!) ...

I used to go downtown and shop on the weekends quite often and you'd see them quite often too!

Those were the days, them good old days in San Francisco!

6. Aw. RIP Vivian. I knew that she was ill.

They used to shop for newborn gifts at a posh children's store I used to manage. Lovely gracious women.

7. Oh!

Somebody will probably complain this is a Lounge thread, but I think it's okay here.

San Francisco has so many visitors I'm sure people from all over will remember these sisters.
